Ms. Sharp began her dancing career at the age of 4. In high school, she was a part of the award-winning Desoto Eaglettes and was named Captain her senior year. To gain more knowledge about dance, Ms. Sharp continued to pursue her love for dancing in college.

Ms. Sharp attended Stephen F. Austin, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Dance with a concentration in Teaching with a Minor in Health Science. While in college, she joined the SFA Dance Teams and danced under the direction of TJ Maple. She was on Jack Attack for 3 years and during her last year on the SFA Dance Teams, she was named Captain. During her time at SFA, her team was named National Champions two times at Nationals in Daytona, Florida!

Prior to coming to Prosper, Ms. Sharp was the JV Director of the Sachse High School Lariats from 2016-2020. Under her direction, the Lariats won Nationals multiple times. This is Ms. Sharp's third year at Prosper High School and she hopes that she can continue to build the Talonettes' legacy and help her students find a passion for dance.
